Scheduling/ Deposit
Appointments are scheduled starting between 12:30-5:00 pm Monday - Friday and can range from 30 minutes to 6 hours depending on start time (with breaks for you and me.)
Please consider what day of the week and start time works best for you. I will try to work with your schedule to the best of my ability within my time constraints. One Saturday per month is sometimes available if weekdays absolutely cannot work for you. A minimum deposit of $100 is required to schedule an appointment. For large scale tattoos or tattoos requiring multiple sessions, a $200 initial deposit is required. Follow-up appointments will only require a $100 deposit.
All deposits are non-refundable and will be deducted from the total cost of your tattoo. Once you’ve agreed to an appointment date and time, an invoice via Venmo, will be delivered to your email address, totaling the amount of your deposit.
You will have 48 hours to pay this amount in full or you will forfeit your appointment and your deposit will be refunded in full (minus any fees from Venmo).
Design Process
The design process can’t begin until we've established a date and time to start your tattoo. Setting a date and time helps me figure out how to manage my designing schedule for all my client’s concepts throughout each month. Concepts will not be designed without booking an appointment and paying a deposit.
Once your appointment is booked:
**Communication will be via email, not facebook messenger or texting.**
Reference photos/Pinterest board
Please email any reference pictures or share a pinterest board dedicated only to this scheduled tattoo. Please have all reference photos delivered no later than 5 days out from your scheduled appointment. If you are extremely particular, multiple reference photos are important.
Photograph of the Area to be Tattooed
Unless a face-to-face consultation is necessary (in which I would take photos), please email a picture of the area to be tattooed.
Tips: When taking the photo, hold your phone directly above the skin’s surface, as if you were taking a picture of an art canvas. Do not take pictures from your own perspective or in front of a mirror and do not use selfie mode (selfie mode can tend to distort the image). This works best if you have a friend or loved one (maybe not your ex, ha) take the picture for you.
Tattoo Concept Design
There is no initial design fee - it is included in your tattoo.
I will try to contact you with any questions/ concerns regarding your design a few days out from your appointment and deliver the initial design the day before or day of your appointment. I try to offer some flexibility with this but it’s not always possible serving numerous clients per week.
Again, all communication must be made via email.
Redesigns/ Design Changes/ Placement Change (left vs right side of the body)
*Alteration fees will be in ADDITION to your total tattoo cost.*
Our initial discussion about your design is the most important; Unless you're giving me free rein over your design, you need to have a good idea of what you want.
You have one free alteration, so long as it does not consist of more than 50% of the design changing. Any changes made after the first alteration, will result in additional fees - fees will vary case by case, but start at a minimum of $40 per alteration.
A decision to flip the tattoo during or after the design process, from one side of the body to the other, will result in an additional fee.
In some situations, decreasing or increasing the size of your design too much, may result in alterations requiring an additional fee.
In some situations, changing the location of your tattoo may result in alterations requiring an additional fee.
Consider these things so our initial design discussion is detailed enough to avoid additional time and fees.
